Hands-On Training

Learn how to think, not what to think.

Scholars of our 9 Month Institute receive an aggregate of 25 hours a week of academics, training, and development, with weekly service hours and close mentorship throughout the program.

Daily needs and accommodations

Housing: Housing for scholars is provided on campus. Dorm rooms will be shared 3 to 4.
Laundry: Laundry units are not provided on campus for scholars. There are several good laundry mats in Fredericksburg just 15 minutes from campus.
Meals: Scholars are responsible for providing their own meals for most of the week. There will be one lunch catered each week to the group thanks to a local sandwhich shop. On occasion the Institute staff will host an evening of fellowship and dinner will be included.
Transportation: It is highly encouraged to bring your own means of transportation on and off campus. It is a ten minute walk from the dorms to the classroom, and downtown Fredericksburg is a 15 minute drive from campus.
